Iam a member of the NCS the national chinchilla society about 6 or so years now, and when i first started i was never going to show but only do local ones to get my chinchillas assesed for quality and have more recently started showing in that show my own bred won a 2nd for his new owner since then i have personally won 4 x 3rd 3x 2nd places.
